Bridging Perspectives was created for clinicians and educators including Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, school counselors, psychologists, special educators, general educators, and administrators who want practical, affirming strategies they can use in real-world settings.

No prior training is required. This course is designed to meet you where you are—whether you’re new to neurodiversity-affirming practice or looking to deepen and refine your approach. Concepts are clearly explained and grounded in real-life examples.

At this time, we do not offer formal CEUs. However, participants have the option to complete a post-course quiz to receive a Certificate of Completion, which many professionals are able to use for employer documentation, professional development hours, or self-reporting purposes (depending on workplace and licensing body).

The course is 100% virtual and self-paced. You can complete the modules on your own schedule, pause and revisit content as needed, and move through the material in a way that fits your workload and energy.

You will receive one full year of access to the Bridging Perspectives course, allowing plenty of time to revisit modules, reflect, and implement what you’ve learned.

Yes! Bridging Perspectives can be completed individually or as part of a team, depending on the tier you choose. Many schools, clinics, and interdisciplinary teams use the course together to build shared language, consistency, and alignment across providers.

Bridging Perspectives is intentionally practical and applied. While grounded in research and core frameworks (such as the Double Empathy Problem and neurodiversity-affirming models of disability), the course focuses on:

Yes. The course includes explicit guidance on writing neurodiversity-affirming SEL goals, identifying strengths and needs, and aligning goals with authentic participation rather than compliance or normalization.

This will help! We have advice in the final two modules on how to turn doubts into dialogue, explain neurodiversity-affirming practice to others, and build allies within systems that may be more comfortable with the status quo.

Absolutely. The course includes guidance on reframing deficit-based narratives, supporting positive identity development, and partnering with families in ways that honor their child and their lived experiences.
